"Seven years ago I started out on this journey and since then Anna Emm Productions has been pursuing a big dream. Following a big goal puts a lot of pressure on a small business. As the dreamer and visionary I was constantly aware of the long road ahead. I did not allow myself to be sidetracked or slowed down by compliments on what we've already accomplished. I did not celebrate small victories because compared to where we wanted to go still they seemed so ridiculous. Last month I suddenly found myself without energy, tired out of my mind and emotionally empty. I've learnt a valuable lession. The lesson was this: When climbing a very big mountain your life may depend on your mental strength as much as on your physical efforts. To keep up your mental strength it is important to stay in the moment. When passing a waterfall, drink and refill your bottle. When passing a small town, rest and enjoy the hospitality of the people. When dicouraged, stop and look back to the way by which you had come. See the process you've made. Celebrate each lesson learnt, each dangerous cliff crossed, each revelation discovered. Take time to look around and enjoy the view. Your heart needs it for the journey ahead.

August is all about journeys. At Anna Emm Productions we remember the past ones... and we look forward to the future ones. But most of all we enjoy where we are now.
